FortressMC
FortressMC, also known as FORTRESS or FMC, is a survival multiplayer server running Minecraft 26.2. Its plugins add per-block reinforcement, physical access keys, player imprisonment, area protection, and production mechanics that replace vanilla villager trades.
The server address is fortressmc.net. Java clients from versions 1.10 through 26.2 are supported, although version 26.2 is recommended. Bedrock Edition clients connect through port 19132. Further instructions are available at Joining FortressMC.
Gameplay
Buildings are protected with Citadel, which reinforces individual blocks and entities. Interaction Keys control access to containers, doors, redstone components, and other objects. Reinforced beacons and conduits can be converted into city and vault bastions, which restrict selected actions within a surrounding area.
Players killed in combat may be bound to an exile pearl and confined to the Nether. Finale leaves a player’s body in the world after disconnection, allowing it to be killed, looted, or pearled while the player is offline. Activity can be recorded through snitches, block forensics, and sniffer scent records.
Most vanilla sources of experience are disabled. Experience points are released by consuming emeralds or throwing bottles o’ enchanting. Emeralds remain available through mining and can also be produced in bulk by the advanced Experience Factory. The Basic Experience Factory converts crops and Player Essence into bottles. Emeralds and bottles can also be crafted into one another. Factories replace ordinary villager trading with permanent production specializations.
Administration
Staff enforce restrictions on impossible-client cheating, exploits, ban evasion, and conduct involving real-world harm. Raiding, theft, griefing, and pearling are left to the players when they use intended mechanics. Display modifications such as x-ray, freecam, and entity radar are permitted, subject to the limits described in Botting and Mods. The full administrative policy is set out in the server rules.
VPN and proxy connections are blocked by default. Networks with an unusually large number of accounts may also be blocked as an anti-alt measure. Legitimate players sharing a network may appeal through the FortressMC Discord.
World
The overworld is bounded and expands following major Minecraft world-generation updates. Vanilla structures, including villages and strongholds, do not generate. Their important mobs, resources, and progression items are provided through alternative mechanics. Eyes of ender point toward a custom grid of end portals.
